Stacy Frizzle
Personal Fitness Trainer
A Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Stacy
majored in Communications with a minor in Nutrition. Throughout
college and her twenties she taught a multitude of health and fitness
classes including step aerobics, Callenetics and strength training.
She developed and led a walk-fit weight-loss program for Duke
University's School of Medicine in Durham, NC aiding patients who were
preparing for gastric by-pass.
Continuing her career, Stacy branched into sports television
production, working with both Olympic and professional athletes on
such events as The Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia, The U.S.
Olympic Committee in Atlanta, GA, The NFL and The NBA.
Stacy moved to Maine in 2002 where she has been an active community
member serving on the board of trustees for the Topsham Public Library
and volunteering at Woodside Elementary School. She has participated
in over a dozen running and triathlon events in the Midcoast area
including the Polar Bear Triathlon at Bowdoin College, The Bath YMCA Y-
Tri, The Swinging Bridge Race, The Physical Therapy 8K, and the Maine
Marathon in Portland, ME where for three years she organized and
participated with 24 women in the full marathon relay as well as
completing the half marathon in both 2008 and 2009.
