What is a Life Coach?

A Life Coach is an insightful, objective, active listener, ready to experience with clients a trusting, supportive, and imaginative partnership.  This alliance facilitates the personal motivation essential to sustaining confidence and a sense of humor amidst transitory events as well as the commitment to effective resolution.

When it has been deemed that neither medical nor psychiatric diagnosis is required, seeking a corroborative relationship with a Life Coach is advantageous.  Life Coaching focuses on the space between “now” and where a client would like to be in the near future.  A new sense of purpose is discovered as goals are realized while inner tools are revealed with which a client is able to continue to effect change through various life transitions.

Meet Our Life Coach, Jane Conover

A native Californian, but New Englander at heart, Jane Conover has made her home on the coast of Maine—Cape Neddick to Castine—for over thirty years. As diverse as Maine's sprawling landscape, Jane brings to her seven-year Life Coach practice the knowledge and skill of Behavior Modification, small business ownership, manufacturer/wholesaler involvement, wife, mother, grandmother, animal lover, freelance creative writer with a B.A. in Psychology. She draws intuitively from her experiential understanding to individualize each client partnership to which she commits. With humor, compassion, and creativity, Jane guides and supports those in the midst of transitional life events.

Happily ensconced in the Bath Community, Jane lives with her husband John and their two wheaten terriers, Harry and Mabel.
