Massage
Therapeutic massage is custom tailored treatment session based upon a thorough intake evaluation by the therapist and an expressed intention or desired outcome by the client. The safety and comfort of the client is an upmost priority. I hold all clients in the highest regard and honor them exactly as they are. I also strongly believe massage to be a wonderful tool for self-awareness and through education and communication I enourcage clients to take an active role in the healing process.
30-Minute Massage
Don’t let so much time go between massages and self-care! Everyone can manage to carve out 30 minutes to receive much needed bodywork and stress relief. During a 30 minute massage session you can receive focused attention on specific areas of tension such as head, neck and shoulders or hips and feet. Each bodywork session may include a blend of techniques such as deep tissue, relaxation, joint mobilization, acupressure and guided breathing based on the client’s preference and therapist’s intuition.
60-Minute Massage
The most popular massage choice, a full hour allows for a full body treatment, from relaxing a tense scalp to soothing tired feet. A full body session is ideal due to the fact that no one muscle group or postural imbalance exists in isolation. For example, it is common for someone with very tense shoulders to often experience particularly tight hamstrings. It is the goal of a full-hour session to begin to relieve both immediate stress as well as its underlying causes.
90-Minute Massage
If making time for yourself is the biggest challenge but once you do the benefits of massage are hugely effective then we recommend you reserve a full 90 minutes to receive. 90 minutes of hands-on care gives you plenty of time to unwind, quiet your mind and reconnect with your body amidst a busy life. This is a nice time frame to balance deeper, more focused massage with soothing relaxation, energy work and/or guided breathing. An excellent choice when you are going through a life transition, recovering from an athletic event or intending to detoxify on some level.
