At InspireME® we believe that steady, incremental progress and lifestyle changes lead to sustainable, long-term gains. Self care isn't static. Every session builds on the last, reflecting your progress, your changing goals, and what your body needs in the moment.
InspireME® personal trainers are ACE-certified and become skilled at our functional training approach through a 12-month internship. Our trainers are also certified to teach SURFSET®—the hot, new workout that's designed to fully engage core and stabilizer muscles. We work as a team to give our clients the benefit of multiple training styles and varied expertise, meeting over monthly round tables to discuss progress and fine tune workouts.
Nutrition is an integral component of self care. InspireME® staff brings a wealth of knowledge about balanced nutrition and behavior modification.
Our body/face contouring technicians have all completed AW Advance Skincare training and more than 30 hours of supervised training.
Business Owner, Exercise and Nutrition Specialist
Perian has worked as a personal trainer and nutrition counselor for more than 25 years. In 2004 she opened InspirME®—a supportive space for those who are committed to making self-care a priority.
Perian's fitness and wellness career began after she dislocated her shoulder. She got back on track through exercise and it inspired her to help others get back on track, and stay there. She worked for more than ten years at the Auburn YMCA and led the implementation of their personal training program. She has also worked as a personal trainer for Medical Rehab Associates and trained hundreds of private clients throughout Maine.
Perian holds a BS in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the University of Southern Maine and is also a graduate of USM's two-year Lifeline program in fitness instruction. When she's not working with clients, she can be found cycling on Maine's roads. Wave if you see her!
